The Majestic: Home Coming - Vernal Foster Ebanks Part3Uploaded on Mar 31, 2015

Caymanian fishermen made a life for themselves and their families by fishing the seas for turtles and sharks off the coast of Cuba and Nicaragua, a product that would be sold primarily to the United States.

This documentary is about the tragic tale of the Majestic, a fishing Schooner which sank off the coast of Nicaragua on September 27th 1941, recorded as the single largest Maritime disaster in the history of the Cayman Islands.

Capt. Vernal Foster Ebanks (87 years of age) the sole remaining survivor of the Majestic shares a firsthand account of this tragic event with Vision3E, as seen through his eyes as a 13 year old boy.

Vision3E wishes to thank Capt. Vernal Foster Ebanks and his entire family for sharing this story with us, and in turn allowing us to share it with the World.
