Mosquito Control in the Cayman Islands.

The Mosquito Research and Control Unit (MRCU) was established in the Cayman Islands in 1965 to reduce mosquito nuisance and to protect against mosquito-borne disease, such as Malaria and Dengue.
The aerial section of the MRCU currently operate two 550 gal Thrush Aircraft (S2RHG-T65) for day larviciding (pellets) and night adultaciding (spraying).
